The project was located approximately 10 miles south of the city center of Bucharest. The initial steps were to understand the purpose of the urban space and explore different strategies of introducing it into the urban context. This project’s intent was to rehabilitate an urban block and apply principles of landscape architecture by means of textures, vegetation and urban furniture; also, proposals of restorations and activity areas were made.

The project developed from the idea of transparency within an urban block. The emerging concept was to attract the surrounding communities and provide public walkways through different spaces towards the community church on the NE corner.
